Traditional psychology continually looks at the trauma behind things which supports “learned helplessness”. Positive psychology instead looks at the present to create “learned optimism’. It’s a total game changer, my decision making is going through a transformation of choosing the good without effort. I’ve downloaded a heap of books on it. Am currently reading “Authentic Happiness” by Martin Seligman, it’s good. You’re probably already all over it. All the best 😊
